Vacation Bible School @ Crystal:  July 10-13  ($19; $5 per day)

Join us for Vacation Bible School in the beautiful camp setting of Camp Crystal! We will be using Group Publishing’s ROME – and will go back in time to visit a crowded Roman marketplace, meet with the Apostle Paul, and tiptoe past Roman guards to meet first century Christians hiding in a cave! This four-day VBS encounters Paul and the Underground Church where kids learn God’s love is a gift that changes us, is always with us and is worth sharing. This is a fun way to learn about the life of Paul and all he can teach us about Jesus Christ while enjoying swimming, Roman style crafts, awesome camp snacks and games.
AGES: 4 years to entering grade 6 <> 9am-12pm

Camp Scholarships

Camp scholarships are an important part of the Christian Education budgets of many congregations.  They stimulate greater camp participation and make a camp experience affordable for those who may otherwise not be able to attend.  Everyone should have the opportunity to experience this great Christian camp.  We encourage you to talk with your pastor to find out if your church offers Camperships and sign up today!!  You can help make it possible for a child/youth to attend this summer by donating now to the Camp Scholarship Fund. Click Here to donate.

Volunteer Counseling Opportunities

There are a limited number of counselor opportunities available at camp this summer.  All  counselors  and  counselors in training must go through a background check and sessions of training in order to work with children at Crystal Conference Center. Counseling gives you the opportunity to develop as a leader and grow spiritually while reaching children about Christ. If you are interested in being a camp counselor or counselor in training contact the Regional Office for more information, ccmr@michigandisciples.org.

Work Weekends

Work weekends each spring are critical to us having the conference center grounds ready for our campers and retreats. Volunteers help open buildings and clean up grounds for the summer season. Please join us for all or part of Memorial Day Work Weekend each year. Or help out closing the camp at the end of September. Reconnect with camp friends, celebrate all things Crystal, be part of the gifts of Outdoor Ministries. Food and lodging provided. We also welcome church groups who make it both a church retreat and work weekend at other times in May.

Contact Brenda Murphy, Conference Center Director for more information, 989-860-8741 brendam@michigandisciples.org.
