Pioneer Cottage
Pioneer Cottage is the oldest building on site and was recently renovated. It sits on the bluff overlooking Crystal Lake, with a loft-like layout with a queen bed, kitchenette, sitting area, bathroom with shower, and bunk room that sleeps four.
Priority of Pioneer use is given to Michigan Disciples clergy families as a respite and retreat location. WiFi available.
Weekly use is Sunday through Saturday, with a maximum stay of six nights in a row. See Rates and Policies here. All reservations for Pioneer Cottage are handled by UCCR Reservations.
Mission House
Mission House is fully accessible on the ground level with bedroom and bathroom on main level. An additional four bedrooms and a bathroom are located on the second level. Mission House can comfortably sleep up to 13 people. Amenities include a full kitchen, linens (bedding and towels), living area with TV/DVD, deck with lake view, and access to the tennis court. Lakeside water sports are available with responsible adult present, however, there is no lifeguard service. All facilities are non-smoking and pets are not allowed in the buildings. WiFi access available.
Cedar Lodge
Cedar Lodge comfortably sleeps a total of 4-8 people, with four large bedrooms and two bathrooms. Common area includes a TV with DVD player and kitchenette with small appliances. The downstairs basement-like area is available for storing athletic equipment, including bikes. WiFi access available.
The Oaks
The Oaks has three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, sleeping a total of 7-10 people. There are two common living areas and refrigerators in select rooms. You may reserve one or more rooms. WiFi access available.
Dorms
The Beeches has four rooms that sleep up to 10 in bunk beds, with a bathroom in each. One unit has a small kitchenette and limited pans/dishes.
The Birches has five rooms that sleep 6-8 in bunk beds, with a bathroom in each.
The Pines has five rooms that sleep 6-8 in bunk beds, with a bathroom in each.
Groups
Conferences, Retreats, Weddings, Family Reunions
Crystal welcomes weddings, families, church groups and others, with arrangements possible to include meals and multiple buildings and facilities use. The “2024 Rates” document provides details and costs involved. Special arrangements can be made to reserve the camp for large events.
